Areca Lodge - Pattaya

I just came back from an amazing stay where I enjoyed spacious family rooms, good buffet breakfasts, and the relaxing atmosphere around the pools. I would definitely come back!

The family room was spacious and suited our needs. The staff were helpful when it came to having to rearrange our stay due to a change in plans.

Just be aware that it is in the centre of Pattaya and everything that Pattaya has to offer. If travelling with children you may want to look elsewhere as the nightife is literally on the doorstep. For others, I'm sure this is a major selling point!!

Perfect for a weekend escape

The staff were friendly, always ready to assist with a smile! I had a nice time enjoying the breakfast buffet, they had REAL bacon medallions, not that American style nonsense!

Wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but worth it, no doubt.

The hotel was luxury and the staff well managed, top location near many bars. The room was good value for money with balcony, reasonable prices. I liked the breakfast with lots of good food.

I ate at a good restaurant for breakfast.

The location was good if you want to be near the nightlife.

Breakfast was decent, and the two large pools were nice. The noise from nearby bars was occasionally disruptive.

I thought the staff were fantastic and they made us very welcome at all times,fantastic hotel.

The location was favourable, the staff was attentive! A mall and a bazaar were right next door.

The location of the hotel. Despite being close to lots of bars/pubs there was no noise reaching our room. The breakfast was good and also the breakfast room was attractive. We stayed in the new "Evergreen" section. The room was nice and clean with a good view over the pool. There was ample parking available. On the whole, it waas a pleasant stay.

I was disappointed with the hotel's late check-out policy. Any time past 12 noon attracted a fee of 900 Baht. I think there could be some flexibility shown here as many hotels offer a late check-out up to 2pm. Perhaps the breakfast could offer more variety. It was ok but a little limited.

The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and functional. The staff was extremely polite and very helpfull, from reception desk to cleaners! Very clean and well maintained daily. Pretty basic gym facilities but surely a plus. Located only a few minutes walk off the Central shopping mall and a 40Baht motorbike ride to Walking street. Highly recommended, I'd stay at the Areca Lodge again, no doubt.

The Areca Lodge offers a pleasant experience with convenient location near attractions and well-maintained pools. The staff can be unwelcoming, and there's some noise from nearby bars, especially later in the night. Upgrading to a quieter room is advisable.

all the staff were allways smiling and very willing to help with any requests had. the rooms were clean,cool and comfortable

when my room bill reached 15000 baht payment was requested even though i still had another 9 days to stay.the hotel had my credit card details and still wanted payment.this policy needs to be looked at.

I appreciated the thoughtfully designed common areas with comfortable seating. The staff was attentive, always ready to assist, made navigating the facilities easy for seniors like me.

Improved shower accessibility for seniors would be beneficial.

The venue is big and perfectly clean with an EXCELLENT value and well organized staff. The hotel offers comfy location to the mall or walking street. Btw, it's set in Central Pattaya district adjacent to the local night life, big shopping centres and the beach, and restaurants and bars. The pool bar is refurbished.
